Poetry Corner - November Sunset

I'm lucky to have some very talented friends one of whom is Ian Pegg who some time ago wrote a lovely poem about my work. His favourite painting of mine is November Sunset. Thanks Ian

And for you...

to conjure visions of moonlight streams
rippling water twinkling of silver grey
dandelion seeds like fairies skimming waves
nightingales singing in the twilight
hedgehogs rustling through the leaves
sat on the peaceful banks dreamimg away
dreaming of shadow like angels flitting
flitting through the trees like a mist
dreaming of the gorgeous lady i saw that day
the lady from the MySpace site
the lady whose paintings i could look at all night
allowing my mind to wander to a far off place

the lady of the pink top, whose beauty
knows no bounds, so angelic, so scrumptious
whose name rattles round my mind
so angelic a sound to hear, that of Suzieblu
well who knows one day she may be mine
what a lovely thought that may be, one day

but time to go home, and snuggle down in bed
to wet the mind for the sweetest of dreams
to be there with her not here, so fanciful
yet seems so nice a though it lets me drift
drift to that place in the subconcious mind
where everything is real, so real and fantastic
only to be spoilt by the bloody alarm

but at least i got to dream, and go to that wonderful place that too often eludes me.
and to raise the soul of hope to one day it may very well be real..

well look forward to bed tonight to visit my place, my place where no-one can touch me..

cant wait...
